Our school is very well equipped and has modern intercommunication and alarm systems. Sister Annette Duignan was Principal from 1993-1998. Mrs. Rosemary Sheahan was Acting Principal from 1998-1999. In September 1999 Mr. Terry Allen was appointed the first Lay Principal of Our Lady of Mercy Primary School.
In September 2005 Mrs. Mary Finan was appointed Principal.
Mission Statement
Our Lady of Mercy Primary School is a Catholic Christian school,promoting the Catholic ethos under the trusteeship of the Sisters of Mercy of the Western Province. The school is committed to a holistic approach to education. We recognise the uniqueness of each child in our care and we strive to develop his/her full potential in a nuturing and mutually respected atmosphere. To this end, we work in partnership with parents and the wider community.
