Today we did an interview with our new principal Ms. Marguerite Stenson.
We were delighted to get the chance to ask her some questions and record her on a podcast!
She was delighted to take some time out of her busy schedule to answer a few of our questions!

Halloween Buns
This week we are doing our Halloween Baking!
We wrote our recipes out last week and this is our reading in English.
We like baking and cooking and are good at helping Ms. Leydon do the washing up, which is just as important! What a tasty treat!

Today was exciting day in Our Lady of Mercy Primary School. Sligo Rovers came to visit our school after winning the EA Cup! The school was decorated from top to toe in Red and White!
Here is what some of the children had to say before they arrived!

Google Street View Launched in Ireland
We had great fun with Google Street View today! Here is a shot of our school! You view it in several shots because it is so big! When we went around different places we could see some neighbours in their gardens and some children on yard. It is a bit strange we said and we all agreed that it was good to blur out car registrations and faces. We discussed how we should never share locations with people whom we do not fully trust.
It must have taken a long time to take all the pictures!
